Beacons combines a link page with creator-store, email and media-kit tools. The important comparison is whether the paid features replace tools you already use and whether seller fees outweigh a subscription.

What Beacons combines
Beacons is a hosted creator platform that combines a customizable link-in-bio page with tools such as a media kit, digital-product sales, affiliate links, email capture and analytics. That can be useful for a new creator who would otherwise assemble several services. It is not the same as owning a fully portable website, and any hosted platform can change features, pricing or policies.

Creator Plus is listed at $30 per month or $300 per year and advertises zero Beacons seller fees, unlimited emails, courses and memberships. Do not upgrade from a feature checklist alone. Estimate monthly sales and multiply by the current free-plan seller-fee rate, then compare that number with the subscription cost and payment-processing charges. Also count what you already pay for email, storefront or course tools that Beacons could genuinely replace—not tools you would keep anyway.
Beacons versus a standalone website
A link-in-bio tool is fast and optimized for a short list of actions. A standalone site provides more control over structure, long-form SEO pages, archives, metadata and migration. Beacons offers SEO tools on paid plans, but a creator whose main need is searchable editorial content may still want a dedicated site.
